How the OxiVantage Display and Sensor Work

Two-Wavelength Sensing

Red light and infrared light pass through the finger. The sensor reads the light that comes through and uses it to calculate the oxygen saturation value shown on the screen.

Custom Alarm Thresholds

You can set your own oxygen and pulse thresholds. The device gives an alert when a reading crosses one of the values you entered.

Pulse Wave and Bar Graph

The OLED screen shows a live pulse wave and a bar graph beside the numbers. These let you see how steady the signal is while the device takes a reading.

Soft Flexible Chamber

Very dark or opaque polish can block the light sensor on any fingertip oximeter. Light or clear polish is usually fine. If the PI reading looks weak, try a bare finger.

Small changes in finger position or grip pressure can shift a reading between checks. Hold still, keep the finger in place, and watch the pulse wave. If it looks weak or jumpy, reposition and try again.

A lanyard is included in the box. Attach it to the device so you can wear it around the wrist or neck, or hang it with your other daily items.
